So, ummmm, Roman and I went to an International Adoption workshop about two months ago.  When we walked out of there, I found myself wondering how we could adopt two from Russia, one from Bulgaria, one from China and one or two from Ethiopia and only have two in college at the same time. 

If anyone is standing near my mom, would you please scrape her off the floor.

Now, I’m not saying that the hubby has signed on for nine kids, mind you; he’s probably thinking more like “four”.  I’m just dreaming out loud here.  Part of my dreaming involves being ten years younger–clearly not something I’m going to be able to finagle.  And then there’s the logistics of the whole thing:  once one has more than four kids, I think one must guillotine the “mini” off of minivan; the “international” off of travel; the “spontanious” off of road trip.

So this isn’t a dream I get to become too attached to.  (Someone once told me that depression in women is linked to us not being able to accept not getting what we want.) We’ll probably be able to adopt one child if our next bio child is healthy.

We’ll see;  I still have to reconcile my other thoughts.
