Girl Inductive
West Coast
United States of America
Mama of two; wife of one; transitioning to motherhood after doing the professional route for 20 years. I love Jesus. I like to travel, read, journal, do inductive Bible studies… I used to enjoy hiking, but am out of practice and out of shape. Now that I’m no longer pregnant, I’m craving a road trip like nothing else.
I’d love to hear from you so feel free to leave a comment.
Things that make me smile and remember God’s richness
The way a baby purses her lips after nursing. She just looks so milk-drunk and happy.
The way infants stretch when they wake up.
The sensation of a fall morning
The smell of the coffee aisle at the supermarket
The shiver I get down my spine as I drive to the airport for an early morning flight
The sound of wind blowing through palm trees when it’s a warm evening.
The sight of my hubby’s cute posterior.
Toddler hands.
The way my four month old (at this writing) smiles at me when I zoom in to kiss his sweet cheeks.
Hearing successful adoption stories.
Cobble stone streets.
Good architecture.
Old Books and Old Book Sellers.
A nap in a cold room by a sunny window.
Waking up in Yosemite Valley; hiking the Mist Trail; rafting the Merced; taking a morning walk with my mom to a bridge crossing the river and watching the sun come down the cliffs.
Good conversation.
Kelly! What a great blog–love seeing the pictures of the little ones–they are beautiful. I hope to see you soon-
Beth
I just love your list of things that make you smile! It’s amazing the myriad of ways God reveals Himself to us each day, most of which we overlook.
Love ya!
